After years of change and growth, Job’s Daughters International Bethel No. 5 is officially reopening its doors in the Quad Cities.

Rechartering Bethel No. 5 is more than bringing back a local organization. It means bringing back an opportunity for girls in our community to build confidence, discover their strengths, develop leadership skills, and form friendships that can last a lifetime.

For families in Davenport, Bettendorf, and throughout the Quad Cities, this is a chance to discover a youth organization that may be new to them—or one they remember from years past.

What Is Job’s Daughters?

Job’s Daughters International is a leadership organization for girls and young women, generally ages 10–20. Members participate in activities designed to help them develop skills they can use in school, careers, relationships, and everyday life.

Girls have opportunities to:

• Practice public speaking and leadership

• Plan and organize events

• Participate in community service

• Develop teamwork and communication skills

• Build friendships with girls from other communities

• Participate in fun social and recreational activities

• Attend state, regional, and international events

• Take on leadership positions within their Bethel

• Learn how to make decisions and take responsibility

And perhaps most importantly, girls get the opportunity to be themselves, try new things, and grow in a supportive environment.
