Do parents have to be involved?
Parents are welcome and encouraged to be part of the experience—but girls are always the leaders. Adults serve as mentors and supporters, helping guide and encourage while allowing girls to take the lead.
How much time does it take?
Participation is flexible and designed to fit busy family schedules. Bethels meet two times each month for business meetings, with optional fun events and activities. Families can choose the level of involvement that works best for them.
What are the age requirements?
Job’s Daughters International is open to girls typically ages 10–20. Younger girls can get involved through our Jobie-To-Bee program, which is designed especially for those under 10. helper helping build connections and build confidence.
Can we visit before joining?
Yes! You and your daughter is welcome to visit a meeting or event before deciding to join. It’s a great way for her to meet the girls, see what we do, and ask questions. You’re welcome to attend with her, and we’ll walk you both through what to expect and how membership works.
Is this a religious organization?
Job’s Daughters International encourages a respect for faith and values, but girls of all backgrounds are welcome. Our focus is on building character, leadership, and kindness in a supportive environment.
How much does it cost?
Costs are kept as affordable as possible and may vary slightly by Bethel. There may be small membership dues and optional costs for activities or events, but we work hard to ensure every girl has the opportunity to participate.
